Focus on engineering careers:
In my last visit to South India, I noticed that the number of engineering colleges has increased significantly within the last five years. Vellore Institute of Technology in Tamil Nadu was awesome. Tenth grade students in Chennai were able to tell me about their choice of disciplines in colleges. On the other hand, most of the students I meet today are not sure even after entering the college about ttheir ambitions and career paths. What can I do to help the kids to seek excellence and better opportunities?

We spent our weekend in New Jersey with our relatives. Most of our friends are educators, engineers or doctors. My son, David wants to go into aerospace engineering. If most of our engineering and technology jobs are outsourced, is it advisable for David to get into engineering? Should he get into medicine? That has not been outsourced yet!!!!!
Today I read about online teachers in mathematics!
I have challenged myself today: What are the strategies to get the students to be motivated to excel in every thing? It appears to me that there may not be any middle class in the US as most of their jobs might have been outsourced. Do a comparative analysis of increase in engineering jobs in other countries like India with decrease in engineering jobs in the US. How can I help the children in the US to become inventors and creators so that they will continue to lead the world?
